Blythe

Top: J.Crew/ Jeans: Levi's/ Shoes: DV Dolce Vita

I love the J.Crew Blythe shirt and the array of colors they have to offer. I first wore the yellow version here, and when I saw this pink number on sale online, i knew I had to have it. It's comfortable and lightweight, which is perfect for the warm, summer months.

Cap Toe

I was perusing a few of my favorite blogs and saw that they were featuring this cap toe shoe by Sigerson Morrison. Although they are adorable, I'm unsure of the square-ish toe. I am, however, a huge fan of the cap toe detailing on these shoes below.

The Fourth

I wish I had more pictures to share of my 4th yesterday, but I was so caught up on relaxing that I simply forgot. We started off the day making baked eggs based on a recipe found here. I overcooked them slightly (I like my eggs a bit on the runny side), but there's always next time! The day also included going to the beach, barbequing in the park, and ending the evening with fro-yo. Simply amazing.

Weekend Recap

Beer
Leopold's Meat Platter
Chicken Enchiladas

My weekend consisted of a 4 hour bootcamp on Saturday, dinner at Leopold's that evening, and having one of the laziest Sundays one could imagine. The only time I left the house was to purchase groceries and go on my weekly fro-yo binge. I was feeling a bit adventurous and wanted to cook something I've never made before. I found this recipe on pinterest, and although it isn't super healthy, it was quite delicious. And the best part is, it's pretty foolproof. I altered it a bit (I poached the chicken and doubled the amount called for, I put in less cheese, added more veggies, took out cilantro and sour cream), and it still turned out great. It's super easy and doesn't call for many ingredients. Needless to say, this will be one of my go-to dishes.
