Manoa Falls

On Saturday, we rented a moped for the day and zipped around the island for some exploring. We heard some great things about going up to Manoa Falls, and that is what we just did. The area was beautiful, and I felt like I was in a whole other country. Everything was just so green and lush! The hike wasn't strenuous at all, but after battling slippery rocks, mud and just the humidity, we were sweating profusely by the time we reached the falls after a mere 1.2 miles later. Nevertheless, the view was breathtaking!

Greetings from Hawaii! After a long flight, we finally arrived in Oahu Friday night. This is my first trip to Hawaii and I can honestly say that I love it. The air is clean, the water is crystal clear, and the beaches are heaven. I'm here for three more days, and then it's back to city life in San Francisco. Here are some snapshots from my last two days. Tomorrow will be some breathtaking pictures from Manoa Falls. Happy Monday!

Hawaii

Well, looks like the blog has been neglected for a little bit with my trip to Vegas, the short work week, and my next trip to Hawaii coming up. I've never been to Hawaii (shocking, I know) and I can't wait to spend the next 5 days on the beach, sipping on coconut juice and lounging around. I'll be bringing my handy dandy laptop and camera, so the blog will be back then!
