Details

After watching shows like Million Dollar Decorators and reading blogs such as Cupcakes and Cashmere and The Glamourai, I have come to realize that my room needed a makeover--badly. I went to my parents house over the weekend to help them with a garage sale, and I couldn't resist some of my mom's treasures. I picked up candles, lamps, and mirrors, and decided to rework my room. A trip to Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie over the weekend also gave me further inspiration on decorative ideas. For now, I am happy with the way it turned out; but knowing me, this look will probably change in a few months.

Current Obsession: Home Decor Edition

My mom has always been obsessed with home decor and I remember vowing when I was younger that I would never be into furniture. I recently moved into an apartment and I have a newfound appreciation for decorating. My room currently consists of rich dark wood furniture pieces with accents of teal, and I'm already bored of it. I was looking on some of my favorite websites such as Z Gallerie, Jonathan Adler, and Anthropologie, and these are some of the things I'm currently coveting. The top item on my list? A borghese mirrored nightstand.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I was at work yesterday and a co-worker showed me these really cute aprons that she found in a magazine. They came in so many colors, patterns, and the best thing was that they didn't look matronly! In fact, they looked like dresses I would wear everyday. I found these adorable aprons from Anthropologie. Who says you can't cook and serve your Turkey in style?
