The Ring

I have been wanting this ring for over a year and I can't stop searching for it on the internet. I don't know why I'm praying to the "sale" gods, hoping for a price reduction. $250 is pretty steep for a fashion jewelry piece, and I can't bring myself to take the plunge. I was reading my blogs, and found this website called La Dama, and I found the greatest thing ever--a version of the ring. Could it be?! I squealed in delight when I saw the $30 price tag and before I could blink, it happened to make its way into my virtual shopping cart. I remembered my New Year's resolution of saving money and not spending it on "unnecessary" things. I am trying to be good, so we'll see how long this resistance lasts. Happy Weekend!

Ring a Ding Ding

The one thing that comes with blogging is shopping, and it's truly my vice. I can't help but browse hundreds of products and be drawn to at least some of them! While searching for the perfect cocktail ring (as I don't have enough already), I remembered that I have wanted this YSL ring for almost a year now (1st row, 2nd image below). However, I don't think I can take the plunge and fork over $250 when I have 4 trips in 4 weeks! For now, this will purchase will have be on hold, but it will be on my pretty little finger very soon! I'm also currently loving multi-colored stacked rings and finding the perfect piece in the perfect price range has been a bit of a challenge for me. Of course, everything that I covet is over $200. In the meantime, enjoy a few of my favorite rings (note the Oprah reference) and have a happy Thursday!

Mood Ring

Had a great meal with some great friends at Tyler Florence's Wayfare Tavern in the Financial District for a pre-birthday meal. I received an amazing piece of jewelry from a friend. I've been wanting this ring for months and this will be something I will definitely wear everyday. This past year has been quite interesting, but yet, I still feel truly blessed for everything that has happened in the last 365 days. Never take things for granted and always be grateful for everything.With that being said, here's to new beginnings and to a new season--Spring!
