Etsy Find: Turquoise

On the hunt: stacked turquoise rings. I found the perfect teardrop rings on a website, but they were sold out before I could snag them. Thus, I found myself on etsy.com. I don't know about you, but I can spend hours browsing on that website; it's littered with everything you could possibly imagine! I've always been drawn to turquoise. Something about the bright colors just livens up any outfit instantly. Here are the current pieces that I've been coveting...

Chambray Heaven

Since I work for a jean company, I am surrounded by denim. With summer just around the corner, a great alternative to heavy, thick jeans is chambray. This lightweight material is perfect for the warm weather, and won't make you feel too hot in the summer months. I've been talking about chambray in several of my posts, and I am still its #1 fan. I was browsing the Levi store today during my lunch break and wanted everything, especially this adorable Levi's® by Opening Ceremony dress. However, I can't quite justify spending $275 on a casual dress (even with my discount). I've been spreading the chambray word around and slowly starting to get some converts! And I promise that if you wear a chambray top with jeans, you won't look like you belong in a cowboy western. Stay tuned for a post where I style chambray in different ways.

Current Craving: Brook&Lyn Necklaces

I was browsing through my morning tweets, and discovered this designer, Mimi Jung, who is the founder of Brook&Lyn. She debuted her jewelry line, entitled "Surround" in June 2010, and it's pretty amazing. I've never seen anything like this and I want everything from her collection; they are absolutely beautiful. Each piece is made of multicolored agate and a microfiber rope. Who would have thought to mix those two elements together? Genius. Check out her website: http://shop.brookandlyn.com/ Happy Friday and I hope everyone has a great weekend!
