Bananas

After watching so many seasons of the Rachel Zoe project, I have always wondered if I could bring myself to wear fur. I was always fearful that the fur would consume my petite stature and I would end up looking a little Chewbacca. I found this faux fur vest online at Nordstrom and for less than $50, it was a no-brainer--I had to buy it! My favorite way of styling it is to pair it with billowy blouses to give it a feminine/70s ish vibe.

Bananas for Booties

I don't know about you, but I go "bananas" for stylist Rachel Zoe. I recently signed up for The Zoe Report, which is a mini newsletter about fashion and style. In her first letter, Zoe discusses a great transitional piece from summer to fall--the "shootie" (shoe+bootie, or booties in general). I personally love this trend because full on boots aren't very appropriate in the summer heat, so the bootie is the perfect alternative. Below are some of the booties that I'm coveting.
