Bananas

After watching so many seasons of the Rachel Zoe project, I have always wondered if I could bring myself to wear fur. I was always fearful that the fur would consume my petite stature and I would end up looking a little Chewbacca. I found this faux fur vest online at Nordstrom and for less than $50, it was a no-brainer--I had to buy it! My favorite way of styling it is to pair it with billowy blouses to give it a feminine/70s ish vibe.

Writings on the Wall

I was inspired by this post and decided to fish out a tweed blazer and rock it with my neon pink t-shirt. Since I've been pairing blazers with a refined top, I wanted to wear something way less serious. Sometimes all you need is a t-shirt, blazer, and jeans. It never fails.

Black Betty

Something about a gingham pattern makes an outfit so polished and refined. I purchased this top from J.Crew and loved it so much that I bought the same exact one in orange. I wanted to pair it with a necklace, and decided to button it all the way up to add that extra preppy style. I threw on these tweed shorts to give it a Fall feeling, and since I wasn't too keen on a dark ensemble, the blue pumps had to be worn.
