Harper's Bazaar + Twilight = High Fashion Genius

Ok, so I'm going to admit that I love Twilight. Now that is all out in the open, I'm also going to admit that I have read the entire series in a matter of two weeks, and in anticipation of New Moon (which comes out November 20th by the way...), I have even re-read the second book as well. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this high fashion photo shoot of actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in Harper's Bazaar. While Robert is wearing essentially Dior Homme in every shot, Kristen has the luxury of donning Prada, Alexander McQueen, Versace, and Alexander Wang. The backdrop is romantic, and yet exudes a level of sexiness. Kristen's wavy dark hair is so old Hollywood glam and the styling is just pure perfection--now, if only the characters wore high fashion clothing throughout the entire movie--that would be a dream come true!

Stella McCartney Teams Up with Baby Gap & Gap Kids!

Who says kids are too young to be in designer? Now kids can wear designer for a fraction of the cost because Stella McCartney has teamed up with Baby Gap and Gap Kids to produce a line of hip childrenswear! The collection features designs for both girls and boys (infants to 12 years old), with prices ranging from $30 to $128. In a news release, McCartney states, "It's a reflection of my brand – there are pieces that are classic and very sort of timeless and hopefully very chic and then there are pieces that are the kind you chuck in the washing machine and they get better with time." From blazers for little boys, to tulle skirts for the little girls, there is a definite look for every child. My favorite piece? Of course, how could I resist the Michael Jackson inspired marching band jacket? The collection is available now at select Gap stores, so get it before it sells out!

'Twas the Night of All Hallows Eve...

Director Tim Burton's characters from movies such as Beetlejuice, The Nightmare before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands, jump on the pages of Harper's Bazaar October issue (shot by photographer Tim Walker). This layout was designed in anticipation of Burton's career retrospective at New York's MOMA starting November.

So edgy. So freaky. So fabulous.

Happy Halloween!
