 {Maxi Dress: Forever 21/ Wedges: Nordstrom/ Wallet: Kate Spade/ Denim Jacket: Levi's}

It was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend and I decided to wear a vibrant maxi to celebrate the occasion. My weekend included a surprise trip to the Giant's game, reading in the park, dinner at Prospect, and an unexpectedly long (over 5 miles to be exact) walk in 4 inch wedges. Ouch. At least I got to enjoy the weather and unwind before another long two weeks at work. Happy Monday!

I recently bought two pairs of shoes that are color blocked (one of them is featured on the top right!) and I can't get enough of this trend. We are using some of these trends in my development for tops and outerwear for our Outlet stores (in moderation of course) and I'm constantly online and out in the market gaining inspiration for this trend. See above for some of my favorite finds! Happy Hump Day!

Double Take

Top: Vendor Sample/ Cargos: J.Brand/ Shoes: Dolce Vita/ Necklace: Urban Outfitters/ Ring: Catbird

I realized that I've worn a gray top and green bottoms two days in a row. Although my outfits are oddly similar, I decided to dress it up with my silver fringe necklace and add that extra pop color with my cranberry colored suede Dolce Vitas. These are like heaven on my feet. Just like my DV by Dolce Vitas here, I knew I had to get the taller version when I saw these online. I highly recommend both styles. They are simply amazing. Have a great Friday!

I have wanted to make my own personal cards ever since I saw this post by Emily. I stopped at the Paper Source in my neighborhood and was overwhelmed by the sky high shelves filled with an array of cards. I only had a half hour left in meter, and had to rush to get the supplies that I needed. I wanted to create some simple thank you cards that catered to my taste. I quickly browsed the selection and left the store with these beautiful aubergine colored note cards and envelopes. I also found some monogrammed note cards and couldn't resist picking them up as well. Needless to say, I'll be making my way back to Paper Source soon!

Weekend Snapshots

Burger with egg at Roam
Fro Yo
Grilled Cheese at Outerlands
Latte at Outerlands
Sweet Tea Vodka
First Giants game of the season!
Dolls they give us to play with while waiting outside Red Door Cafe...Only in San Francisco!
Fireworks at AT&T park

My apologies once again for the lack of posts this past week. I have been really busy at work, and having to  assort a line for Spring 2013, I found myself in flats, a tee and jeans, which is definitely not post worthy. After two long weeks of work, I took the time to relax this weekend by finding new delicious brunch places (Outerlands and Red Door Cafe, in San Francisco), going to the Giants game on Saturday (we won!), and shopping for supplies to make cards (post tomorrow). Hope you had just as great of a weekend!

Flower Bomb

Dress: Old Navy/ Shoes: Nordstrom/ Necklace: Jigsaw/ Bracelets: J.Crew

I was window shopping after my haircut and found the amazing necklace above. It was just so unbelievably huge I couldn't resist--what a statement piece! I immediately went into the store, tried it on for a split second, and out came my credit card. A few people have told me it looks like a lei, but regardless what it looks like, this is my new favorite necklace for Spring.

DIY: Rhinestone

I've been inspired by DIY blogs such as Stripes and Sequins, and when I found this project from Krystal, I knew it was simple enough that I had to try it. I'm not super crafty, but I figured it was foolproof enough. I picked this necklace up from Forever 21, bought some cheap, fun nail polish colors from Walgreens, and painted away!

Dress: Gifted/ Shoes: DV Dolce Vita/ Necklace: From Hawaii/ Bracelets: J.Crew/ Watch: Michael Kors

My apologies for the lack of posts last week, as I had to adjust back to life after my vacation. It was fairly chilly, but clearly I was still in a Hawaiian mindset by how I dressed this past weekend. My aunt gave me this maxi dress from Indonesia, and the best part of it (aside from the awesome print) is that there is no need to hem it! This is a very big deal for someone of my stature.

Over the weekend, I had three great meals in the City (Park Tavern, The House, and Frances), caught up on some tv, got a haircut, did some shopping, and resumed my boxing routine. Now, back to the daily grind!
