Bright Nails

I don't know about you, but I used to be deathly afraid of color on my nails. Long gone are those days where I only wore deep purples or grays. I have now embraced rich coral colors with hints of red. I figured I might as well embrace the summer season, even though it's still dreary in San Francisco. On a trip to the nail salon a couple weeks ago, I even contemplated on going neon pink but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Perhaps my next trip will be different? Below are some of the colors that I have recently been eying...

Manoa Falls

On Saturday, we rented a moped for the day and zipped around the island for some exploring. We heard some great things about going up to Manoa Falls, and that is what we just did. The area was beautiful, and I felt like I was in a whole other country. Everything was just so green and lush! The hike wasn't strenuous at all, but after battling slippery rocks, mud and just the humidity, we were sweating profusely by the time we reached the falls after a mere 1.2 miles later. Nevertheless, the view was breathtaking!

Aloha

Greetings from Hawaii! After a long flight, we finally arrived in Oahu Friday night. This is my first trip to Hawaii and I can honestly say that I love it. The air is clean, the water is crystal clear, and the beaches are heaven. I'm here for three more days, and then it's back to city life in San Francisco.
