Catbird
My friend recently came back from New York (Brooklyn to be exact) and returned with some cute, dainty jewelry. I am usually one for large, statement pieces, but Catbird may have changed my mind. I just love how the pieces aren't super perfect and refined, but they still maintain that girly flair. See below for some of my favorites!

Levi's at NYFW
Levi's presented its Fall 2012 collection last week at New York Fashion Week. I know I didn't cover any fashion shows, but I have to support my company! Here are some highlights from the show. My favorite look is image 7. I am loving those sleek black shorts with a simple sheer blouse. So simple, yet so perfect. What are your favorite looks?

See Through
Top: Forever 21/ Cardigan: Banana Republic/ Jeans: Levi's/ Shoes: Gucci/ Belt: Levi's/ Necklace: Ambiance/ Nail polish: Essie's Mod Square (pink) and Tart Deco (orange/peach)
The last time I ever wore this top was here, seriously. It was just one of those pieces where I hung it up in my closet and simply forgot about it. I was furiously searching for a tank top to wear underneath and in my mad dash to get to work this morning, I went without. It's a little risque for work, but I threw on my oatmeal colored cardigan to balance it out, and my skinny red belt for added pop color.

Where the Wild Things Are
This past weekend, I tried a little restaurant called Leopold's and it has easily become one of my favorites in the city. Not only was the food and atmosphere highly entertaining, I couldn't help but love all the antlers along the walls. With my recent Dinosaur post, it's no secret that I've been currently obsessed over animal print, and I don't mean just the basic leopard kind. Leopard print can sometimes come across as quite jarring, and I found some great, feminine alternatives above.
