I spent a ridiculous amount of money during the Macy's Friends and Family Event last week at both the stores and online. Although they were mostly Christmas presents, I couldn't resist and had to buy something for myself! One of my purchases were these Style & Co booties and they finally came in the mail yesterday! True to form, I wore them today, even though it was pouring rain. I cuffed my jeans because the shoes had to make an appearance! I entitled this post "My Uniform" because I always wear blazers and they are my "go to" outfit. I could wear one everyday if I could, and never get tired of them. I decided to take these pictures in front of the Christmas tree, because my mom worked so hard on it and I wanted to showcase it. Oh yeah, and Santa makes a cameo as well!

Rain Rain Go Away

Winter has officially begun! The weather has been chilly, and I look forward to wearing my peacoat and scarf while strolling around the city. However, what I am not a fan of is walking in the rain. Rain is enjoyed best while sitting in front of a fire, baking cookies, and cozying up to a good book. I have restrained myself to buying rain boots, because I figure it doesn't rain that much here in Northern California; however, a recent trip to Chanel in Union Square has got me reconsidering this idea (see first image below). I am absolutely in love with the sleek black and white heel, and the flowers with the little "cc" logo. Perhaps, after Christmas, I will splurge and buy myself a nice little present.
