I was shopping for birthday gifts at Nordstrom when I came across the Dolce Vita shoes that I have been vying for a year. Just for kicks, I decided to check out the price tag and my mouth dropped: only $88.95?! Is this for real?! I saw that DV by Dolce Vita made its own version of the Pela shoe ($159) called the Pali, and it's practically identical. The only difference to me is the wedge height. I am willing to make that sacrifice for that price! Needless to say, I will be making a pit stop at Nordstrom this weekend to purchase these!

Picture of the Day: Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte
I was in the Opening Ceremony store in Soho and saw these amazing Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte shoes for Summer 2010. I instantly snapped a pic (and was instantly reprimanded by the sales associate, mind you) and I had to share it with you guys! They are nearly $2,000 and look insanely crazy tall, but I would totally rock these on the streets. Wouldn't you?

Shoe Spotlight: Christian Louboutin's "Rodita" Sandals

I was strolling through Santana Row in San Jose this evening and was stopped in my tracks when I came across the "Rodita" Sandal by Christian Louboutin. I love the crisscross straps, the zip detailing, and the fact that the buckle fastens around the ankle. They come in various colors such as navy, black, red, and white. However, Louboutin has teamed up with Footcandy to make limited pairs of the "Rodita" sandal in hot pink. Although these sandals cost a staggering $895, all proceeds will go to GTAEF (Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation), which helps rescue elephants from the streets of Thailand. What a great way to buy a fabulous pair of shoes and support such a great cause at the same time! Click here to learn more about the Asian Elephant Foundation, or to check out where you can purchase these shoes!

Shoe Spotlight: Tory Burch Jelly "Reva" Shoe
The jelly shoe is back, but in a new and redesigned way. Every time I have gone shopping with friends and we pass by these Tory Burch jelly flats, the popular reaction tends to be: "these shoes are so ugly." However, I am one to give shoes a chance before I completely write them off. I tried them on, and they actually don't look bad! They come in vibrant colors such as bright yellow, equestrian orange, and parrot pink, which will look perfect for the summer season. Although they are cute, there are 2 main reasons as to why you will not see them on my feet: 1. They are expensive. $95 for jelly shoes? 2. They don't breathe. I can only imagine how sweaty my feet will be, especially in the summer time! Will you be wearing jellies come summertime?

Shoe Spotlight: Louis Vuitton Tribal Heels
I recently passed by a Louis Vuitton store and was captivated by this Madonna ad in their store window. Yes, she looks amazing and she really captures the Louis Vuitton spirit--but that wasn't what drew me to the photo. These 4.5 inch tribal heels from the Spring/Summer 2009 fashion show made me want to splurge on the steep $1,540 price tag. I've noticed that many celebs such as Victoria Beckham (seen in the black) and Misha Barton (seen in the red) have been spotted wearing these show stopping beaded and feathered heels. I personally would prefer the red ones because I believe it is designed better and I just simply love the vibrant colors. What do you think?
