The masters of avant-garde were also masters of illusion on the Paris runway. Gowns were literally cut apart to reflect the current consumer who is cutting back due to the current economic situation. The dresses and ball gowns were made from voluminous tulle with exquisite ruffling detail. Although the collection is more innovative and artistic rather than wearable as a whole, I really appreciate the conception and the elaborate workmanship. The colors were fresh, ranging from teal to soft pink and lavender. I can't wait to see these in the pages of Vogue (hopefully)!
