Turning Over a New Leaf

Since we are slowly transitioning into the Fall, I decided to change up my blog. Change is always good right? Although I loved the black background, it was getting a little heavy for me. I decided to change the sidebar to the left (maybe it's working for Macys.com that got me to naturally change it to the left), make the background white, and play around with some fonts.

This morning was cloudy and windy. It was just one of those days where I didn't want to go anywhere. I made pumpkin pancakes using a yummy mix from Trader Joe's. I sliced some bananas and mixed them in the batter, and they turned out delicious. Nothing makes you feel warm and cozy like spiced pumpkin and banana pancakes.

I broke out my pair of sand colored uggs today. A few years later, they are still so comfortable! Uggs are the only thing that I don't care if people hate them, or think they're the ugliest thing in the world. If you've ever tried on a pair, you would know what all the fuss is about. Crocs, on the other hand, serve no purpose. Now those things are hideous. At least uggs keep your feet warm! So uggs are my guilty pleasure. So out of date and out of style, yet, I am willing sacrifice that for the feeling like I'm walking on air.
